Which martial art is best for me?

Why choose just one? We say the best way to find out which martial art is best for you is to give them all a go! All members are able to take unlimited classes across all of our disciplines. Get in touch if you’d like to know more about our classes!

What should I bring to my first class?

All of our classes require you to wear appropriate exercise attire and footwear. You should also bring a sweat towel for comfort and hygiene, and always bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

It is best to avoid singlets for disciplines such as MMA and NOGI, instead wear a t-shirt or rash guard. Wrestling, BJJ, MMA, Grappling, Sparring and BJJ NoGi all require a protective mouthguard.

We supply all additional equipment, however if you have your own feel free to bring them along (such as boxing mits, gloves, wraps and focus mits).

What can I expect from my first class?

Whether you are a professional, woman or child, our classes are taught in a fun and supportive environment, and tailored to people of any age, gender and experience. M1FC offers a welcoming, friendly atmosphere equipped with quality equipment and experienced instructors. Most importantly, we can guarantee a great cardio workout!
