Women’s BJJ Class

If you’ve been grappling on whether or not mixed martial arts is for you, try our women’s BJJ class in Osborne Park starting Wednesday 22nd May at 8pm!

Coach Larissa Cacau takes M1FC’s first ever women’s BJJ class, creating a fun and safe environment to learn one of the world’s best self defence systems.

What is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu?

BJJ is a mix between martial arts, self defence tactics and a combat sport. It focuses on providing you with self-defence tactics that helps you defend yourself against larger opponents.

It uses techniques such as swipes, locks and chokeholds to teach essential ground fighting skills to prepare you for any given situation.

Benefits for Women

BJJ isn’t so much about being the strongest and biggest person in the room. It is more about intricate techniques, which helps with boosting overall confidence, not just from a self-defence viewpoint, but also in day-to-day life.

Aside from self defence mechanisms, BJJ at M1FC is a fun and exciting way to meet new people and especially great to get involved in our women’s martial arts community.
