Womens Cardio Boxing or Cardio Kickboxing Workouts will not only make you fitter and stronger, but will also teach you elements of self defence.

What is it:

Boxing and Kickboxing are great alternatives to going to the gym and doing the same treadmill routine everyday. This way every class is different, the workout is great and you learn new and exciting things as well as make new friends and mix things up a bit. Our classes are a lot more than just boxercise as we teach you the right techniques and also self-defense skills.

Class description:

The classes start with a warm up of stretching and skipping and progress into technique training with a partner.

Classes also involve students working without a partner on the bags with punching and kicking combinations and sometimes we even have a circuit session to really get the heart rate going! Sessions end with some abdominal work and stretching and often out come the medicine balls and fit balls for that extra strength and conditioning training.

We have pads and gloves that you can use during the class and at our front counter you can purchase your own equipment at reasonable prices.

Who is it for:

Currently over half the students at Mach1 Fitness are women, which is something we are very proud of. Most begin training for fitness and weight loss but end up getting hooked on trying to perfect the art and skill of putting together a crisp 4-punch combination.
