Boxing is a fun, popular and effective way to get fit.
What is it:
Cardio boxing work-outs will not only make you fitter and stronger, but will also teach you elements of self defence.
Boxing workouts are a great alternative to going to the gym and doing the same treadmill routine everyday, this way every class is different, the workout is great and you learn new and exciting skills.
The classes vary and they train students co-ordination and how to apply technique, develop strength using pads and punch bags.
The classes start with a warm up of stretching and skipping and progress into technique training with a partner. Classes also involve students working without a partner on the bags with punching and defensive combinations and sometimes we even have a circuit session to really tone up.
Sessions end with some abdominal work and stretching and sometimes, out come the medicine balls for that extra strength training.
Who is it for:
The boxing classes are open to anyone who is willing to learn and they are structured so that both beginners and advanced students get a great workout.

M1FC is located In Joondalup and Osborne Park and are fully equipped gyms that caters for everyone who wants to learn boxing. We have pads and gloves that you can use during the class and at our counter the more serious members can purchase their own equipment at reasonable prices.
